We appreciate all the support from the racers, visitors, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and all those behind the scenes that helped to turn the event into a success! Overview
The first annual People’s Health Day was held in Atlanta, GA on July 30, 2011. The cause works to raise awareness for the importance of health and the connection between mind and body. The event shows people how to improve upon their health in natural and preventative ways by educating healthier lifestyles that encourage nutrition, exercise, mental and physical health. The event suggests that as a basic human need, health must be improved upon to reach one's true potential.

• Nutrition-Body Connection: Learn how specific nutrients benefit different functions in the body
• Proper exercise techniques demonstrations, including stretching, running & strength training
• Kids games, including exercise demonstrations, mini races and flag football
• Contests, Raffles, and Giveaways for local health-conscious businesses
• Live music & speakers throughout the day
Everyone is invited to join in on the festivities and encouraged to sign up for the 5k run/walk. Admission to the event is free and open to all ages, and food & merchandise tickets will be available for purchase during the event. Look for People’s Health Day in multiple cities next year!

7:45am - Registration Start at Home Park, north of GA Tech Campus. Runners will receive their timer chips and bibs.
8:45am - Registration Close (please arrive early)
